Plays with Glass: Re-imagining with the Help of the Sun features stained glass works by local artist, Beth Shuford. Beth is a thirty year veteran of stained glass arts. What started off as a fun pastime/hobby, has turned into a creative, thought provoking adventure. So much so that she can’t turn it off – every shape, color, landscape is automatically registered in the brain as a statement of, “How can that be recreated in glass?”

While still mesmerized with the thought of the time, beauty and skill level of long ago artisans, Beth likes to recreate special, meaningful scenes in glass. How about a most precious furry member of the family, a piece commemorating a specific event in the life of a loved one, an object of significance like a specific flower for someone you think the world of, your favorite musician or recognizing someone’s passionate pastime like bike riding or tennis?
