Portrait photograph of Georgia O'Keeffe — by Alfred Stieglitz in 1918.

For seven decades, Georgia O’Keeffe was a major figure in American art. Often praised for her ability to remain independent from shifting trends, O’Keeffe stayed true to her own vision. Her primary subjects were landscapes, flowers, and bones, explored in series with subtle nuances of color, shape, and light. To celebrate Women’s History Month, BRAHM is leading a watercolor class inspired by O’keefe’s representative and abstract paintings.
