Grandfather Mountain’s Slithery Friends

From the Speaker:

“Sally, Peaches, and Cuddle-Bug look forward to spending the morning with you!”

Cassie Petrilla from Grandfather Mountain Stewardship Foundation will be giving a talk at BRAHM to share information on these long, legless reptiles. Come learn about their critical role in the environment! Whether you prefer snakes from a distance, or value their scales close-up, you will walk away with a greater appreciation of these slithery animals.

About the Speaker

Cassie Petrilla has a background in Environmental Studies from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida. She has worked as an environmental educator in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains and throughout Western North Carolina. She is currently working as the Education Specialist with the Grandfather Mountain Stewardship Foundation.
