Community Expressive Arts - Zine Making Workshop
Zine-making is the opportunity to develop different chapters in the Book of Life. Creating a zine from folding the paper to finishing off the leather button closure provides a space for reflection and creativity.
About the instructor
Andi Gelsthorpe, LCSW, REACE, owner of Woven Roots Consulting, a consulting service that specializes in promoting overall community and individual well-being through the practice of Expressive Arts. As an artist, her work focuses on nurturing human connection and developing a sense of belonging. She is interested in the relationship between meaningful art-making and resiliency. Andi believes that creativity is the first language of humanity. She seeks to establish safe spaces for people to reflect and explore the healing power of their imaginations through the creative process.

If you wish to donate to support our Community Expressive Arts sessions, please also select a dollar amount in $10 increments under the “I want to donate…” ticket type.
Space is limited, please register so we are prepared with ample supplies and staff. Once registered you will receive an email closer to the date of the event to confirm you are still able to attend. If for any reason you cannot please let us know so that we can make space for other community members who want to attend.
