Chag aviv sameach to those who are celebrating Passover! We’re pretty lucky here in North Carolina. There are only two permanent museum collections of Judaic ceremonial art in the United States, and one of them happens to be at the NCMA in Raleigh. They feature several highlights from their amazing gallery online--please take a look! Pictured above is a spectacular silver Italian Kiddush Goblet from their collection.

The Museum of Jewish Heritage in NY has posted a Zoom discussion panel on YouTube titled "Seders In The Time of Coronavirus – Food, Ritual, And Resiliency." Present circumstances are uniquely challenging, but the creativity of humanity is more visible than ever as we collectively experience something so unprecedented. Annual traditions can remind us of the importance of history and community, and this panel gave valuable insight into how freedom can still be celebrated during a time of confinement and how our current experiences can be related to the Passover story.
