Oral History Feature | Maria Lourdes Rivera

Maria Lourdes Rivera is the owner of Tres Reyes Tienda in Boone. We asked her to take us through her day:

"In the morning, I start cooking, the chores at home, I go out and walk for a bit, and then I get ready to come here to the store - from 12 in the afternoon to 9:30 (at night), Monday through Friday and sometimes Saturday and Sunday. My husband helps me in the mornings on Saturday and Sunday. I never not have any work. (Laughs) It’s now when I really just sit down waiting on clients to come in, but at home I always have something to do."
