Lewis Hine: Exposing Child Labor in North Carolina, 1908-1918
August 12 - November 4, 2017
Lewis Hine’s early 20th century photographs provide insight into everyday life in North Carolina textile mills and mill villages. Though child labor was common at the time, Hine wanted people to see just how horrible the working conditions were for children.
The traveling exhibition is on loan from the North Carolina Museum of History.
